Glossop handed Chesterfield tie

Glossop North End will take on a Chesterfield XI in the third round of the Derbyshire Senior Cup.

The Hillmen will welcome what is likely to be a young Spireites side to the Amdec Forklift Stadium, for what promises to be an exciting clash against the National League club currently managed by John Sheridan. 

Meanwhile, New Mills - who beat Graham St Prims 2-0 in the last round - will travel to east Derbyshire to face Ilkeston Town. 

Struggling Buxton, who are currently bottom of the BetVictor Premier Division, will host Belper Town at Silverlands Stadium. 

The games will be played on the week commencing Monday 4 November.
