Glossop fall to defeat in friendly

Friendly: Glossop North End 0-2 West Didsbury & Chorlton

Glossop North End were beaten 2-0 by West Didsbury & Chorlton in a friendly at Belle Vue on Tuesday.

The game took place following Saturday's postponed home fixture against Kidsgrove Athletic due to a waterlogged pitch at the Amdec Forklift Stadium.

Peter Band and Lloyd Morrison's side are currently 14th in the BetVictor South East, 13 points outside the playoffs and 18 points above the relegation zone.

The Hillmen return to action this weekend at Loughborough Dynamo, who are one place and two points above them.
