Familiar faces return to Mossley

Two familiar faces have returned to Seel Park ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Forward Oumar Camara has rejoined the Lilywhites after two impressive seasons with North West Counties side Ramsbottom United, where he scored 21 goals in 43 games in all competitions.

The 27-year-old first signed for Mossley back in July 2022, going on to make 51 appearances before departing for The Rams midway through the 23/24 campaign.

Elsewhere, defender Jack Grundy returns to the club he made 115 appearances for between 2020 and 2024.

The 23-year-old will look to pick up where he left off, having signed off his previous spell by winning the Manager’s Player of the Season award in 23/24, before spending the following season with fellow NPL West side Runcorn Linnets.

Alex Craddock’s side have also confirmed the signing of former Ashton United midfielder George Milner.

Milner spent last season with NPL Premier Division side Leek Town, and has a wealth of experience playing at both step 3 and 4.

The trio will be hoping to make their debuts for the club next month as the Lilywhites take on Irlam in a pre-season friendly on July 8.

Craddock’s side then take on Tameside rivals Droylsden on July 12.
