FA Trophy: Curzon handed trip to AFC Fylde

Curzon Ashton will travel to AFC Fylde in the FA Trophy first round on Saturday, December 14.

The Nash secured their place in this stage of the competition after beating Kidderminster Harriers 3-0 on Saturday.

In doing so, Mark Bradshaw's side won a prize fund of £3,750, and victory against the Coasters would generate a further £4,500.

Curzon have now secured three consecutive victories and will host Kettering Town at the Tameside Stadium in their next fixture on Monday, December 2.

They are the only team in Tameside to remain in the competition.

Meanwhile, Fylde enter this stage of the competition due to their status as a National League club. The club recently parted ways with long-serving manager Dave Challinor and replaced him with Morecambe legend Jim Bentley. They are currently four points above the relegation zone.
