Dynamic duo depart The Nash

Curzon Ashton winger Isaac Buckley-Ricketts has made the switch to National League North rivals Macclesfield for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old joined The Nash at the start of last season, netting 12 times across all competitions and cementing himself as one of the most dangerous attackers in the division.

The ex-Manchester City youth player was contracted to the Tameside Stadium for a further year but has decided to move in the opposite direction to teammate Alex Curran ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Buckley-Ricketts is not the only wide man to depart the club this summer, with Michael Afuye signing for fellow National League North side Radcliffe following his release.

Discussions with a number of first team players are currently ongoing, including midfielder Isaac Sinclair, who has recently been linked with a move to Accrington Stanley.

Should the move materialise, Sinclair would once again link up with former teammate Devon Matthews, who made the switch to the Wham Stadium last January.
