Droylsden FC make statement to fans

Droylsden FC have issued a statement to fans asking them to ensure they behave in a respectful manner, following crowd troubles at previous matches.

The club's statement is as follows, "Recent incidents at matches, including flares and bottle-throwing, and young fans on the pitch border wall must stop. Ignoring this means fines, points deductions closed-door games if we cannot tackle the issue and no one wants that."

Droylsden East Cllr David Mills commented, "Whilst we welcome our young fans we must call on all Parents, grandparents and carers to speak to our young people and ask them to please please please behave themselves and support our club in the correct and respectful way."
