Denton face a trip to Waterloo in semi-final

Denton Town FC have been handed an away tie at Waterloo in the Manchester Challenge Cup semi-final.

Denton have negotiated two rounds to reach this stage of the competition, having overcome Dom Doyle FC and East Manchester.

Phill Cooper's side racked up a 5-1 victory against Dom Doyle, before securing a 2-0 victory over East Manchester in the quarter-final on Saturday, October 19.

Denton are currently ninth in the Cheshire Football League division one, having won three, drawn two and lost four of their opening nine games.
