Stalybridge Celtic have confirmed the signing of Dahrius Waldron.
The former Liverpool Under 18’s defender joins the club from Ramsbottom United.
The 25-year-old featured for Celtic in our first pre-season friendly vs Morecambe and impressed in defence.
Dahrius, who is from Manchester, was scouted by Liverpool whilst playing for Fletcher Moss FC’s Youth Team in 2009 and spent six years progressing through the clubs academy before leaving in 2015.
He went on to feature for Northwich Victoria, Maine Road & 1874 Northwich before linking up with Celtic Manager Chris Willcock at Ramsbottom where he played some of his best football.
After signing for the club, Dahrius said: “I’m delighted to have the opportunity to be part of this club.
“I’ve worked with the gaffer and his staff before and I’m ready to fight along with the rest of the team to bring success this season.”
