D&CCL Review: Dove Holes down Dinting in division one

The Derbyshire and Cheshire Cricket League marked its tenth instalment of fixtures last weekend.

Woodley maintained top spot with a six wicket win at Hayfield.  

Dove Holes had the better of Dinting in a convincing eight wicket win which extends the gap between the two teams with Dove Holes in second place with a 22 point lead.

Whaley Bridge and Pott Shrigley, (who demolished Dove Holes by 170 runs), occupy the promotion places as Stalybridge, (in 3rd place), missed out on the opportunity to keep pressure on them when they went down at Chapel.

Woodley, like their first team, top the table after a convincing seven wicket win over Chapel.  

Newton trounced Hayfield by 10 wickets and are just four points behind the leaders.

Tintwistle lost for the first time this season, but still have a healthy 38 point lead over second placed Hollingworth who missed the chance to narrow the gap, losing at Buxworth.
