Chris Renshaw leaves Curzon Ashton

Curzon Ashton have announced Goalkeeper Chris Renshaw has left the club to join Southport FC.

The talented shot-stopper spent two years with the club after joining back in 2021 from Witton Albion.

Renshaw’s time at Curzon has been extremely successful, winning both the supporters’ and players’ Player of the Season award last season, after keeping 15 clean sheets and helping Curzon finish just outside the play-off places.

The club took to Twitter to thank Renshaw for his efforts,

“Curzon Ashton can announce Chris Renshaw will be leaving the club. We thank Chris for his immense efforts whilst with the club and wish him the best for the future.”

Renshaw also wrote a message for Curzon fans on his Twitter,

“Thank you (Curzon) for everything over the past two years it’s been a pleasure.”
