Celtic supporters to host Stalybridge quiz night

The Stalybridge Celtic Supporters Association have organised a Stalybridge themed quiz night in an effort to raise funds to install a community defibrillator at Bower Fold.

The quiz, which will test your knowledge of the town, takes place from 7pm on Friday 28 February at Bower Fold.

Teams are restricted to a maximum of five members, and under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets can be purchased via the following link:

“Having access to a defibrillator in that moment of need can really be a matter of life and death. So when we floated the idea of fundraising for a defibrillator to be installed at Bower Fold the whole committee agreed it was something we should get fully behind.

“We see this sort of fundraising as having a vital impact on not just the community at Celtic, but further reaching into the town and its residents. The football club is a community asset and having use of a defibrillator at the ground 24/7 should go hand in hand.

"We have several fundraising ideas coming up including our own take on The Peak Peaks challenge. But we wanted to start with this Stalybridge quiz as a fun way to include residents of Stalybridge in to our efforts to reach our goal.”
