Celtic announce pre-season fixtures

Stalybridge Celtic have confirmed a number of pre-season fixtures ahead of the new season in the NPL Premier Division.

The pre-season schedule starts on Saturday July 3 with a short trip to Abbey Hey, before making another journey a week later to West Didsbury & Chorlton.

Simon Haworth's side are set to host League Two Oldham Athletic on Tuesday July 13 (7pm kick-off), before travelling to Mossley the following Tuesday.

Curzon Ashton will then visit Bower Fold on Saturday, July 24 followed by Manchester United's Under 23s in a game that will honour former Utd and Celtic player Bert Whalley with a plaque unveiling.

And the schedule will be brought to a conclusion on Saturday July 31 with the visit of Marine.
