Avro to offer free season tickets to essential workers next season

As a token of thanks for their efforts over the past few months, Avro are offering all essential workers in North Manchester and Oldham with a free season ticket for the 2020/21 season.

The club has been vocal in its support of NHS staff and frontline workers during the nationwide lockdown, with the management team of James Hampson, Lee O'Brien and Paul Armstrong in training to complete the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. For obvious reason, the event has been postponed until September 6.

Avro, who compete in the North West Counties Premier Division, had their season prematurely ended in March. The club were sitting 10th in the division.

It's been a great few years for the club, with back-to-back promotions seeing them rise from the Manchester Premier League to step five of the non-league pyramid. The Vestacare Stadium outfit also claimed the Manchester Challenge Trophy in 2018.

Those wishing to take advantage of the offer should send their details to avrojfc1989@yahoo .com
