Anthony Harding and Jack Laugher have finished in silver position in the second leg of the Diving World Cup.

They may train from a pool in Leeds, but diving duo Anthony and Jack have certainly travelled the globe this year. After impressing in the first leg of the World Cup out in China, the pair were back in action as they travelled to Canadian soil.

Montreal welcomed Ashton-born Anthony with open arms, eager to see the talent he would bring.

This talent was soon unleashed, as the City of Leeds Diving Club teammates came to play in the Men's 3m Synchro Final.

A six-round event, the competition saw dives of various difficulty, with athletes earning additional points if they dared to test the water.

Fierce competition came from the Chinese pair Long Daoyi and Wang Zongyuan, who were able to grab the top position.

But excellent dives followed for Anthony and Jack, meaning they were able to secure a silver medal for the second time in this World Cup series.

This string of success has kicked off a strong 2023 for both divers, boosting their chances of picking up extra accolades as the season continues.

With two of three competitions now finished, the 2023 tour concludes where last year's season also ended, in the German capital of Berlin for the World Aquatics Diving World Cup Super Final.

This meet is set to take place on 4 - 6 August.
