Ashton United deliver activity packs

Ashton United in the Community have been busy helping others during the latest lockdown.

As previously reported, Ashton United in the Community was successful in securing grant funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund.

Funding enabled them to link up with Smallshaw Hurst Community Action Group to establish a Food Pantry for the benefit of local people.

Now Ashton United in the Community have been working with the Anthony Seddon Fund and delivering activity packs to the mental health charity’s customers and volunteers in Ashton.

Pictured here is Pat, one of the Anthony Seddon Fund’s volunteers, who was delighted to receive her packs, which included this painting kit to allow her to create some wonderful pictures and enjoy a little art therapy.
