Budding officers from Beever Primary School and Holy Family were given an exciting chance to visit the Manchester Police Museum.
They youngsters were accompanied by staff and the Oldham Neighbourhood Policing Team officers Peter Barnes, Sikander Khalid and Andy Bigland.
The event was organised to reward both school mini police teams for their efforts, dedication, approach and attitude towards events and activities over the last year.
During the visit to the museum, they learned about the history of policing during Victorian times and carried out courtroom roleplay, along with body mapping / fingerprinting and visited the prison cells.
A spokesperson for Oldham Police said: “The visit proved very educational for all mini police officers, and it was a brilliant day that was enjoyed by all young people and staff.
“Our mini police are a credit to Oldham and the schools that they represent.”
