A 41-year-old woman was due to appear in court charged with offences under the Animal Welfare Act 2006.
Dorota Jagielska of Striding Edge Walk, Oldham, has been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal and failing in the duty of a person responsible for animals to ensure welfare.
She was due to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
The charges have been made in connection with an investigation which has seen officers seize 49 dogs from a home in Oldham.
