A woman was taken to hospital after falling when walking down from the historic Pots and Pans in Saddleworth.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team volunteers were approached by a member of the public to assist the walker on Sunday afternoon (20 September).
In total, 16 members were involved for just over an hour and a half.
OMRT said on Facebook: "After an initial assessment, which determined the casualty had sustained injury to the lower leg. The casualty was carefully packaged onto the team stretcher and carried off the hill to a waiting NWAS ambulance for transferal to hospital.
"The team then returned to base to disinfect the kit so to be ready for the next time it’s needed."
