United Utilities to carry out sewer repair works on the A663 in Chadderton

The North West’s water company is carrying out essential repair work on a sewer along Broadway (A663) in Chadderton.

Broadway (A663) will be closed to traffic heading northbound towards the A627(M) from Middleton Road (A669) and the Chadderton Roundabout. Work is expected to start on Monday, March 9 and will be completed by Monday, March 23.

United Utilities has been working with Oldham Council and National Highways in order to minimise disruption.

Part of this involves National Highways aligning essential resurfacing on the A663. Work on the northbound carriageway will be done at the same time as United Utilities sewer repairs.

Southbound carriageway resurfacing will take place overnight and is expected to start week commencing Monday, March 23.
