Two men and a juvenile have been arrested following a stabbing in Oldham over the weekend.
Officers were called to reports of an assault on Greenwood Street, Oldham at around 10.40pm on Friday, March 27.
Police attended the address and found a woman, aged in her 20s, with serious injuries consistent with a stabbing.
She is currently in hospital being treated and remains in a serious but stable condition.
A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault and remains in custody while enquiries continue.
A second man in his 20s, along with a boy, have also been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault and have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Mike Ogiliev from Oldham district said: “This is a serious incident and our thoughts remain firmly with the victim at this time.
“Our investigation has continued at pace, and officers have made three arrests in relation to this incident.
“We believe this is an isolated event with no wider threat to the community.
“We continue to urge anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone from the area at the time to please report to us."
