More libraries have reopened in Oldham

Three more libraries have opened their doors again in Oldham for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown was imposed in March.

The libraries on Burnley Street in Chadderton, Oldham Road in Failsworth and Millgate in Delph have all reopened.

Changes have been made to opening times so people are advised to check on the council's website before visiting.

People are also asked to wear a face covering in the libraries, use the available hand sanitiser stations, browse at a responsible social distance, book a PC session ahead of time, and don't stay longer than necessary in the library.

The council said: "These, alongside Oldham Library, are the only libraries open as of now. We will keep you posted as things develop."
