A teenager has been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) after assaulting a woman in October, last year.
Thomas Heffron (19), of Rochdale Road, Shaw, has been bailed and will appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on February 12, 2026.
Detective Constable, Kirstie Masterton, said: “We have undertaken multiple enquiries over the last year, and I am glad that we have now been able to secure a charge following an extensive investigation.
“Information provided by the public has been invaluable in helping us piece together what happened.
