Betfred League One Keighley Cougars 12-52 Oldham Roughyeds
In form Oldham RL Club raced to their fourth win in a row when scoring nine tries in a 52-12 triumph at Keighley Cougars.
It was the runaway Roughyeds first win at Cougar Park in their last eight visits, but it was never in doubt as the visitors led 18-6 at half-time despite playing up the notorious Keighley slope.
Two-try Emmerson Whittel, a substitute forward, starred for the visitors against his former club while stand-off Paul Crook scored 20 points on his own with eight goals and a try.
Liam Bent, skipper Gareth Owen, Danny Langtree, David Hewitt, Zack McComb and Jack Holmes also touched down for Scott Naylor's Betfred League 1 promotion chasers.
The only blot on an otherwise highly-successful night for Oldham was injury to winger Kyran Johnson, who was taken to hospital with a suspected broken jaw.
Oldham's next test is a second-round tie in the new 1895 Cup against Doncaster at the
Vestacare Stadium on Sunday, June 2, kick-off 3pm.
