Oldham police are inviting residents to report any acts of hate crime or violence towards them at a local surgery.
If anyone has been subjected to abuse because of who they are or who someone thinks they are, this can be reported at the Chadderton Well-being Centre on Burnley Street, Oldham, tomorrow.
Hate crimes can take many different forms – from someone targeting or damaging your property because of your skin colour, sending you offensive letters because of what you believe, or behaving violently towards you because of who you love.
Residents will have the chance to meet their local Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) to discuss any crime related issues affecting them at The Hate Crime Awareness Surgery from 6.30pm-8pm.
