Police are urging local people to remain vigilant following a spike in car thefts across the town.
Vehicles have been stolen on a number of occasions from September 16, 2025 and have occurred in Saddleworth, Fitton Hill, St. Mary’s, Royton and Chadderton from midnight to 5am.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Please remain vigilant and check CCTV of any suspicious activity.
“If anyone has any clear CCTV footage which may be of relevance to this investigation please email 16314@gmp.police.uk
