Police are appealing for the public’s help after a suspected serious assault at Werneth Cricket Club.
The incident took place during a disturbance at a birthday party held at the Chamber Road building on May 17, 2025, at around 9.45pm. A man in his 50's suffered serious injuries requiring hospital treatment. He was later discharged.
Anyone with any information, mobile phone footage or CCTV footage of the assault are asked to call the police on 0161 856 0581 quoting log 3659 of 17/05/25.
