A busy road in Glodwick has been sealed off after a fatal road traffic collision early this morning.

Police and the emergency services were called out to Glodwick Road following reports of a serious road traffic collison where a pedestrian sadly died.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 5.50am this morning (September 18, 2025), officers responded to a road traffic collision on Glodwick Road, Oldham.

“Sadly, a pedestrian died at the scene. A scene remains in place and enquiries are ongoing.”
