Police are appealing for help in tracking down a violent robber after a householder was assaulted and threatened by a man carrying an axe.
A man rushed behind a person as they were opening the door to their home in Failsworth in Oldham, at approximately 5.45 pm on Thursday, July 20 this year.
He pushed inside to gain entry and proceeded to tie up the victim, threatened them with an axe and demanded money.
The offender searched the home and stole personal belongings. The victim did not suffer any serious injuries.
Officers are now appealing to anyone who knows who the male in the picture may be as he is believed to have information to assist lines of enquiries. Anyone who has information that could assist with our investigation is urged to contact police on 101 or 0161 856 9097 quoting log 2911 of 20/07/23.
