Officers are appealing for information following a serious sexual assault involving a teenage girl at Nuthurst park in New Moston.
The suspect is believed to be a man in his mid-20’s from the Failsworth area of Oldham. It is reported that he met the victim at Newton Heath and Moston tram stop and walked with her to Nuthurst park where the sexual assault took place at around 1pm on Friday, November 28.
PC Suliat Gboshe from the City of Manchester division said: “We understand that this incident will be extremely worrying for the local community, and we want to assure the public that this incident is being taken very seriously. The protection of women and girls is an absolute priority to GMP”
