Oldham Neighbourhood Officers have been conducting stop-and-search operations in the town centre this morning as part of a targeted crackdown on cannabis possession.
The Safe4Summer Home Office initiative aims to target anti-social behaviour across all areas within Greater Manchester.
During the Safe4Summer operation, the town centre neighbourhood team has made 20 arrests, over 25 stops and searches and has issued numerous community protection warnings and community protection notices to individuals acting in a anti-social manner over the last two weeks.
Anyone with any concerns can report it via LiveChat on the GMP’s website.
