Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured during an altercation in Shaw.
Officers were called out to reports of a gang of men fighting on Market Street at around 8.25pm yesterday.
One man was found with a serious slash injury, and was rushed to hospital. His injures are not believed to be life-threatening or changing.
An investigation was launched and three men were arrested on suspicion of affray offences. They remain in custody for questioning.
As officers continue with their enquiries, they are now appealing for CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from the area at the time, or anyone who may have witnessed any of the incident, to come forward.
Detective Inspector Roberto Dicorato, from GMP's Oldham district, said: "We are still investigating the full circumstances of last night's incident and have already made a number of arrests. As this work continues, we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
"Your information could greatly assist with our ongoing work - and you can choose to come to us directly or anonymously."
