A person has sadly died in an incident on the railway tracks at Greenfield station.
Emergency services attended shortly after 5.30pm on Tuesday evening (18 August) but the person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The gender or identity of the person hasn't been disclosed yet.
British Transport Police say the incident isn't being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Greenfield at 5.34pm last night (18/08) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
