Oldham will be marking VE Day tomorrow with plenty of exciting activities for local people to see.
The Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Zahid Chauhan and the Leader of Oldham Council, Councillor Arooj Shah are expected to attend the celebrations in the Oldham Town Centre marking 80 years since Victory in Europe Day.
Singer Abi-Kaye is expected to perform classic wartime hits at the Tommyfield Market at 11am, 12.30pm, 1pm and 2pm.
The Civic Centre tower will also be lit up red, white and blue as well as with the VE Day logo.
