Oldham Council is marking Armed Forces Week with a special flag raising ceremony tomorrow (Tuesday).
Residents are being invited to support serving members, veterans and their families from across the borough and beyond.
The flag raising event takes place at 9.30am outside Oldham Civic Centre, near to the Manchester Road entrance, with members of the the Royal British Legion.
The council is also hosting a free event at Oldham Library on the same day, where ex-forces personnel can find out about support to get into work or training.
