Oldham Council officials braved the elements this morning as they joined forces for a special flag raising ceremony.
The leader of Oldham Council, Arooj Shah and the Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Eddie Moores, along with ward councillors raised the flag outside Oldham Civic Centre to show their support to the Armed Forces.
Also, in attendance were members of the Oldham, Royton and Saddleworth branches of the Royal British Legion.
Residents were also invited to support serving members, veterans and their families from across the borough and beyond to celebrate Armed Forces week.
