Oldham Athletic fans can celebrate the club’s return to the Football League tonight as the club confirms plans for a celebratory parade.
An unforgettable evening of music, speeches and a parade around Boundary Park marks the exciting moment in the club’s history as the team’s play-off final victory celebrations kick off.
The club is gearing up for a party that promises to be the perfect way to applaud the club's success on the pitch.
The Boundary Park gates will open at 5pm and the turnstiles will be open from 6pm. Tickets for the event are priced at £5, with a total capacity of 13,500. This will be an all-ticket event, and people are being encouraged to grab theirs before they sell out.
In the instance that tickets sell out, there will be a large screen set up in the Joe Royle Stand for those who still want to be part of the celebrations.
Live music will be on throughout the evening, with a lineup of four fantastic bands, Two Connors, Boundary Parkas, Sam Hewitt and Victor Michael. A DJ will also be live throughout the evening, with Michael ‘Braddy’ Bradshaw hosting the night.
At the heart of the event will be a memorable parade around the ground. Players, management, and the club's board will all take part, celebrating the incredible achievement with the fans who have supported the club every step of the way.
A special stage will be set up in the middle of the pitch, allowing speeches from the players, management, and club officials. Fans will hear firsthand from those who made the play-off victory possible, with the chance to recap on the successful campaign.
As the evening unfolds, fireworks will light up the night sky, adding an extra element of magic to the already electrifying atmosphere with the celebrations coming to an end at 9pm.
