
A new headteacher has been appointed at Lyndhurst Primary School in Oldham.
Jason Chadwick introduced himself in a letter to parents - welcoming pupils to the new academic year and outliing his goals and vision for the school on Heron Street.
He said: “It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of Lyndhurst Primary School.
“I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been chosen to continue to develop this fantastic school onto the next stage of its journey.
“My goal is to ensure all children who attend Lyndhurst Primary School are happy and provided with all the necessary opportunities to be the best they can be both socially and academically.”
He added: “I have worked in education for 13 years all of which has been in large schools like Lyndhurst Primary School.
“I have been a deputy headteacher for the last two years in Old Trafford and an assistant headteacher for seven years previously at Deeplish and Freehold, all within Focus-Trust. I feel this gives me a great knowledge of what is needed to take Lyndhurst forward.”
