A 15-strong squad from Oldham Mountain Rescue Team turned out after an urgent request from North West Ambulance Service.
They were asking for assistance with the treatment and evacuation of a male, who was reported to be having a seizure while walking in the Chew Valley area of Dovestones on Thursday (27 April).
The team transported NWAS paramedics to the location so they could give medical aid.
The casualty was then transferred to an ambulance before being taken to hospital for further assessment.
OMRT personnel were involved for one hour.
