Ten members of Oldham Mountain Rescue Team spent an hour rescuing a woman who injured her lower leg walking near Delph on Tuesday (15 June).
The team responded to a request for assistance from North West Ambulance Service.
An OMRT spokesperson said: “Fortunately, the lady was out with a group, who were able to flag us down and direct us into the scene, which only a short distance from the road, albeit up a steep hillside.
"Once with the casualty, we were able to assess and treat her, before packaging her on a stretcher and carrying down to the NWAS ambulance.”
