Mountain rescue crews assisted to help a person who had a broken ankle in Cowbury Dale near Carrbrook.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team were called out on Thursday afternoon (May 28) by North West Ambulance Service to help due to the rough terrain.
They helped carry the casualty on a stretcher for around a mile to the waiting ambulance.
Sixteen mountain rescue members were involved in total, for around two hours and 50 minutes.
