Mother appealing for help in finding missing daughter

The mother of a young girl is appealing for the public’s help in finding her daughter who has gone missing and is still wearing her school uniform.

Ellie-Mae Friar (14), of Chapel Road, Oldham, has not been seen since 6pm last night (Thursday).

Appealing for the public's help on Facebook, her distraught mother Danielle Hayes said: “Anyone seen my Ellie Mae? She has her Newman College uniform on. Not come home because she’s been in trouble and I can’t find her.”

The family were told that Ellie had been spotted at Freehold Tram stop late last night but have not heard anything since. They have also notified the police.
