Metrolink services will be hit with more disruption in August.
New track renewal works are set to start and impact services on the Rochdale line lasting for two weeks.
It means no trams will run between Victoria and Rochdale town centre on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16.
Then from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 28 there won’t be any trams running between Oldham Mumps and Rochdale town centre.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) said a bus replacement service will operate between the affected stops while the works take place.
Any tram ticket valid for all the zones of a journey is also valid on a tram replacement bus, TfGM said.
Tram services will resume from the start of service on Saturday, August 29.
It comes as separate works at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar are about to finish on August 2 after three weeks of disruption.
This has led to the closure of the Eccles, Trafford Centre and Altrincham lines, with passengers making do with replacement bus services.
The Local Democracy Reporting Service had a look at the mammoth works taking place on the line where around 1.6km of track is being replaced at the moment. The tracks being replaced are more than 30 years old and have come to the end of their lifespan.
The wider £150m project is the biggest upgrade since Metrolink opened in 1992.
