A man was arrested after he was caught driving a car without a valid driving licence.
The Westwood and Coldhurst neighbourhood policing team stopped the vehicle in the Westwood area earlier today.
The driver was found to have a provisional driving licence only and not insured on the vehicle.
The car was subsequently seized under Section 165 and the man was arrested. He is due to appear in court.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “We will not tolerate those who risk the safety of members of the public on our roads."
