Man charged with spate of burglaries

A man has been charged in connection with a series of burglaries across Oldham, as well as Rochdale and Lancashire. 

Lee Fennessey, 44, of no fixed abode, has been charged with four counts of burglary of dwellings and one count of aggravated burglary.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Friday (29 October).

Greater Manchester Police say the charges are in connection with five separate burglaries which involve victims aged between 63 and 97.
