A 27-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences including armed robbery in Oldham.
Cameron Bland, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of criminal damage, two counts of assault, four counts of possession of a bladed article, assault on a police officer, two counts of public order offences, six counts of theft, and five counts of robbery.
He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates yesterday (Monday) where he was remanded.
He will reappear at Minshull Street Crown Court on Monday 2 December.
The charges follow an investigation by Oldham’s Operation Gladiator team into a knife point robbery at McDonalds on Lucas Street last Tuesday (29 October) and another knife point robbery at the Co-op, Grotton, last Thursday (31 October).
