A man has been charged with attempted murder following a collision between a car and a pedestrian in the Royton area of Oldham.
Adam Dixon, 26, of Overdale Close, Oldham, has been charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Monday (1 November).
Greater Manchester Police were called at around 6pm on Friday evening (29 October) to a report of a disturbance on Dorchester Drive.
Officers attended and enquiries established there was a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian - a man in his 40s - was taken to hospital with injuries. He remains in a critical but stable condition.
Police believe this to be an isolated incident.
