A 20-year-old man has been charged with a spate of burglaries across Oldham and Manchester.
Kyle Kelly, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of attempted burglaries, seven counts of burglary and six counts of theft of a motor vehicle.
He was due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Thursday, February 6, 2025).
The charges come after officers investigated a string of linked lock snap burglaries, where the barrel of locks is broken to gain entry.
A GMP spokesperson said: “We will continue to respond to every burglary, resulting in more solved outcomes and levels of crime coming down across Greater Manchester.”
