Man charged following disturbance

A man has been charged with drugs offences and possession of criminal assets following a disturbance in Derker.

Jamal Taylor (27), of no fixed address, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal assets following an investigation into a disturbance on Vulcan Street, Oldham on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. 

He has been remanded into custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Manchester Crown Court on Friday, March 14, 2025. 

The charges come after officers launched an investigation following the disturbance and although they have now secured a charge, detectives are still appealing for anyone with information, CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage to contact police on 0161 856 9577 quoting the log number 886 of 06/02/25.
