Young people had the chance to explore various career options thanks to the Oldham Greenhill and Oldham Enterprise Trust.
The Launchpad Career event was held for youngsters aged 16- to 25 and was attended by a number of organisations.
Some of the groups in attendance to lend their help and support were Positive Steps, Inclusive Bytes, Oldham Active, Action Together, Scope, King's Trust, Answer Cancer and Tog Mind.
Ward Councillors Shaid Mushtaq and Umar Nausheen showed their support by participating in the event and offered valuable advice to the young people at the Havelock Street centre.
Rufia Khatun, from the Oldham Greenhill Community Sports and Recreation Club, said:
“We had around 18 young people come and register their interest for more advice and support regarding career paths.
“They spoke to different partners to gain insight into the organisations. It was a resounding success. It offered invaluable support and direction for young people embarking on their career journeys.
“It was truly inspiring to witness so many eager individuals taking their first steps towards bright futures.
“We extend our sincere thanks to all partners and attendees who made the day so impactful."
