After raising £8,700 for patient care in 2025 - the glitz and glamour of Ascot Ladies’ Day is returning to The White Hart Inn in Lydgate this summer.
The ticketed event on Thursday, June 18 invites people to don their best frocks and fascinators to raise money for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
The day will kick off at 11.30am with a glass of Buck’s fizz or Pimm’s before guests enjoy a delicious three-course meal.
Live racing from Royal Ascot will be streamed throughout the afternoon, followed by a traditional afternoon tea at 5pm.
Joanne Penketh, Income Development Manager at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, said: “It is always such a fun afternoon, and the perfect excuse to get your friends, colleagues and loved ones together.
“A professional event photographer will be on hand to capture your special memories, and you can place your bets with an onsite bookmaker.
“Plus there will be a raffle, auction and even a ‘best hat’ competition!
“Best of all, you will be helping to make a real difference for patients and their families.”
This year marks the 20th anniversary of organiser Gill Bussey’s take on Ascot Ladies’ Day in aid of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
The renowned fundraiser is a long-term supporter, having previously served as a judge for the charity’s annual Strictly dance competition.
Each ticket costs £65, which includes a £15 donation to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
